At the age of 21, Mischa Clone Neilson, passed away January 22, 2015, surrounded by family and friends due to complications stemming from type 1 diabetes.
Mischa was born May 4, 1993 to Michael Neilson and Tanya Martinez Aiono. Always a vibrant, loving person, Mischa had an amazing ability to connect friends and family to each other and make sure everyone felt loved.
Diagnosed with diabetes at the age of 10, Mischa battled the disease with all her might and put up a great fight. Preceded in death by her mother, we find comfort knowing that Tanya was there waiting to greet her in Heaven and that her reunion was a celebration. 
Mischa lived a full life for such a young soul. She worked in several different industries; tech support, food, retail and at Lagoon. She loved and mentored her sister and best friend, Terttu. She married Robert Johnson at the age of 19. Mischa loved animals and kids, and they loved her. She would walk into a room, say hello, and the kids would rush to her side to be with her. "I know, right?"
Mischa is survived by her father Mike (Rose) Neilson, her sister and best friend Terttu Aiono and too many grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, other family members to name as well as countless friends. It has been amazing to see the outpouring of love and loss everyone feels for Mischa. We lost our baby girl!
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and numerous professionals that helped with Mischa's care throughout her journey. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the American Diabetes Foundation.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 W. 4100 S. with viewings on Monday from 6-8:00 p.m. and Tuesday one hour prior to services. www.valleyviewfuneral.com

Jerel Cowen Obit

Jerel “Jerry” Cowan

OGDEN/PRICE- Jerel “Jerry” B. Cowan, age 66, died Thursday, January 8, 2015.
He was born January 20, 1948 in Price, Utah, the first child of Byrnell and Ramona Reaveley Cowan. Jerry was raised in Hiawatha, Utah and graduated from Carbon High School in 1966. He graduated from Utah State University with a certificate in Aerospace Mechanics.
Jerry married Sherrie Patterick, but they were later divorced. He married Deborah Green on July 21, 1977 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Jerry joined the Marines and served honorably in Vietnam from December 2, 1967 to December 15, 1968. He received the Navy Achievement Medal with Combat “V”. Upon returning from Vietnam, Jerry returned to Hill Air Force Base and worked there for thirteen years. Jerry returned to his hometown of Hiawatha and became the Town Marshal. He later became a Carbon County Deputy Sheriff and served two years as the Chief Deputy. He retired as a police officer with 22 years of service. Jerry’s interests included hunting, riding motorcycles, fast cars, spending time at his cabin and going for long walks. Jerry was a wonderful father and grandfather who will be missed by his children, grandchildren and extended family that will miss him.
Survived by his wife, Deborah, South Weber; two daughters, Misty Dawn and Shawnbre Blaz; six grandchildren, Alex, Zack, Mercedes, Jake Jerry, Damien and Adrien Blaz.
Preceded in death by parents, and his sister, Rhonda Bogdin.
Funeral service, Wednesday, January 14, 2015, 1:00 p.m. Mitchell Funeral Home. Family will receive friends Wednesday one hour prior to service. Interment, Wellington City Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are welcome daily and may share memories of Jerry online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.

Clinton, UT-Our beautiful mother and grandmother, Patricia Ungerman, passed away peacefully on December 26th at Country Pines Assisted Living in Clinton, Utah. She was born on April 18, 1933 in Sugar City, Idaho to Rulon and Lily Graves and was the third of four children. She grew up in Salt Lake City where she attended South High School. She later attended BYU where she met Reid Grant Ungerman. They were married in the Salt Lake Temple. They had eight children and were married for 43 years. She served in various church callings including Relief Society, Primary and Young Women presidencies. She served as a Church service missionary and worked in the Salt Lake and Ogden temples.
She was a master ceramic teacher and taught in her home for many years. Her parents, one brother and a grandson preceded her in death. She is survived by two brothers, Gordon and Russell; eight children, Dave, Tami, Kimball, Doug, Heidi, Lori, Shawn, and Sterling; 29 grandchildren, and 27 great-grandchildren.
The viewing will be held on Monday, December 29th from 6:00-8:00 pm at Russon Brothers Funeral Home, 1941 North Main in Farmington. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 30th at the LDS chapel at 6350 South Rodeo Drive (1507 East) in Salt Lake City. The viewing will be held from 9:45 - 10:45 am. Rea J. Tatton Obituary

Rea J. Tatton

WELLINGTON - Rea J. Tatton age 88, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, Nov. 16, 2014 at the Heirloom Inn in Price. Rea was born on Aug. 31, 1926 in Sunnyside to Lenard and Elizabeth Jones Williams. Rea married Fred Wilburn Tatton Jr. on Jan. 30, 1945 in Salt Lake City after a whirlwind romance of six days, and remained married for 69 years. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple Jan. 29, 1954.

Rea was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and held many callings in Primary, Relief Society, Young Women's, and Scouting. She was a proud and dedicated mother, grandmother, and supportive wife. Anything Fred did she supported and participated in with him. Mom and Dad served a Temple Mission for 2 ½ years in the Manti LDS Temple.

Rea was an accomplished artist. Her love was oil painting which she shared with her family and others. She worked in the Kenilworth Confectionary as a young girl, which was a job she loved dearly, and is where she met Fred. She had various jobs and many interests.

Rea and Fred moved from California to Montana, and finally settled in Carbon County. Together they raised four children.

Rea is survived by daughter, Freddie Larsen (Rick/deceased) of Salt Lake City and sons, John (Carryl) Tatton of Price; Tate (Heather) Tatton of Grand Junction, Colo. and Kirt (Carla) Tatton of Wellington. Eleven grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren and brothers Lamond and Terry.

Preceded in death by her husband Fred, parents, sister Donna and brother Lynwood.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Nov. 20, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Wellington LDS 4th Ward Chapel (50 North 100 East). A viewing will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2014 from 6 to 7 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary in Price, and also on Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the Wellington City Cemetery. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary. Family and friends may sign the guest book and share memories of Rea at www.fausettmortuary.com.
