STEFAN B. FEICHKO

PRICE-On May 24, 2015, Stefan Blair Feichko, age 60, passed away unexpectedly.

He was born April 23, 1955 in Price to Ervin and Violet Brundage Feichko.

Stefan was an active member of the United Mine Workers of America and a former employee of Wattis and Hiawatha mines where he served as Chairman on the UMWA Safety Committee. He was a lifelong resident of Carbon County and a member of the Catholic Church. Stefan's passion in life was his family and farming. He was a talented craftsman who enjoyed woodworking. Stefan loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing with his daughter and his nieces and nephews. He loved sharing his knowledge with his family and passing down his knowledge for generations to enjoy.

Family meant the world to Stefan and his daughter Dakota was the center of his universe for the past 18 years. He also cherished the many wonderful years that he shared with his mother. Stefan loved caring for his mom and they could always count on each other. He was deeply proud of Dakota and her love Allen. Although Stefan may be gone, his joy will live on through Dakota's joyful laughter.

Stefan is still watching over his beloved daughter and her partner, Dakota Feichko (Allen); his mother, Violet Feichko; daughter, Holly; two sisters, Carol Rogers and Violet Adams; brother, Ervin, Jr. (Susan) Feichko; and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

Stefan joined his father Ervin Feichko, Sr. and the two of them are no doubt laughing and talking about the good old days.

Funeral Mass, Friday, May 29, 2015, 10 a.m., Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church. Vigil service, Thursday evening 7 p.m., Mitchell Funeral Home where friends are welcome to join the family Thursday and Friday one hour prior to services. Committal service, Price City Cemetery. Paul LeRoy Mecham passed away at this home in American Fork on the 8th of April, 2015. He was born August 10, 1927 at his grandfather Warnicks farmhouse at Manila, Utah County, Utah located just North of Pleasant Grove. He is the first child of LeRoy Keetch Mecham and Ethel Myrle Warnick. Paul enjoyed working on his grandfathers farm every summer until he went into the service. He especially enjoyed being there with his Uncle, Steven Warnick, who is 3 years older than Paul and they grew up more like brothers than Uncle and nephew.
At the time of his birth, Pauls father was working for the interurban train line that went from Payson to Salt Lake City. His work moved them to Springville and then to American Fork. After losing his job due to the depression, his father found work in Hiawatha, a coal-mining town in Carbon County, Utah, where the family lived for 11 years. Paul went through ninth grade in the Hiawatha school and tenth grade through his junior year at Carbon High School in Price, which required a daily 36-mile bus trip. Paul and his family moved back to American Fork in 1944
After serving in the Navy, Paul met and married his beloved wife, Norma Marine Larson in the Salt Lake Temple on August 11, 1947, with President Joseph Fielding Smith officiating. They were married 65 years, terminating upon Normas death in 2012. Norma was "The wind beneath his wings" and on her passing he said "a great light had gone out of the world and out of my life".
Paul was always active in the L.D.S. church serving in numerous leadership positions, including in a bishopric and 12 years on the High Council in the American Fork stake. One of his favorite activities was working in the American Fork Family History Center and working on his own familys history. He also spent many years in scouting getting his Eagle Scout award and the Silver Beaver award. Paul worked at Geneva Steel for 40 years and then worked for North American Refractories for 11 years.
Paul and Norma were blessed with three boys, Robert Paul (Karen), Michael Steven (Caroline), and Craig Lee (Dinah). He has ten grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother, Richard (Linda), and one sister, Jeanette Johnson (Blaine). His parents and his wife Norma preceded him in death. Family and friends may call Tuesday evening, May 12th, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork, Utah. Graveside services will take place Wednesday May 13, 2015 at 11 a.m. in the American Fork Cemetery. There will be no funeral service as per Pauls wishes.

SOUTH JORDAN - Myrna Watterson passed away on April 11, 2015 in South Jordan at the age of 77. She was born on Aug. 23, 1937 in Salt Lake City to Norman Lowe and Verla Curtis Lowe. She married Charles Wayne Watterson Jr. in the Manti Temple on June 8, 1956.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 11 am at the Green River LDS Chapel in Green River. A viewing will be at 9:30 a.m. at the Green River LDS Chapel. Interment will be at the Elgin Cemetery in Green River. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary. Herbert Lee Hardgrave

Herbert Lee Hardgrave, age 90, was born on Oct. 15, 1924 to Charles Jackson and Myrtle Crook Hardgrave in Clarksville. He passed at home on March 10, 2015.

Herb married Judith Ann Cook on March 15, 1972.

He is survived by his wife, Judy, and five children: Jane Smith; Julie (Ron) Mote; Brian Hardgrave; David (Kathy) Hardgrave; and Kristian Hardgrave. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Herb served in the U.S. Army during World War II,1942-1945, loading bombs on planes.

Herb was active in the Masonic Order and Eastern Star with Judy in Naomi Chapter 13 in Price.

Herb retired from Hiawatha Coal Mine in 1986.

Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Brown Road Baptist Church in Mesa Arizona.

Bud "Buddy" Leon Clavell, went to be with his Lord and Savior, on February 26, 2015. After an intense eight month battle with leukemia, Bud was reunited in heaven with his beloved wife, Janice Clavell, who passed away in June of 2014.
Bud was born on August 6, 1948 in Price, Utah, to Bud and Marie Clavell. He is the oldest of three Clavell boys. Bud was "reborn" on April 25, 2009 when he became a Christian.
Bud graduated from Cypress High School in 1966. He served in the U.S. Army from April 1968-November 1969, where he was a helicopter mechanic. During his service, he fought in the Vietnam War and earned a distinguished air medal. He graduated from Utah Trade Technical College in June of 1976. Bud moved to California in 1977, where the majority of his career was spent as the Facilities & Maintenance Supervisor (overseeing all electrical work and electricians) at Senior Aerospace Ketema in El Cajon, California.
Bud is survived by his brothers Don (wife Debbi) and Gary (wife Malynn), his son Graylin (wife Gale), his daughter Heather (husband Bond) and his grandchildren, Mason, Haley and Baby Girl Gaona (Heather and Bond) due July 2015.
Bud will always be remembered for his love of his family, the Raiders, golfing, coaching soccer, eating hamburgers, and driving fast cars. He told amazing stories, comforted those in need, even during his own time of distress and was always there when you needed him. He devoted the last 6 years of his life to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He shared this message of love with everyone he met, and everywhere he went, including mission trips to Africa!
We love and miss you Buddy! You are forever in our hearts and memories.
A Celebration of Life for Bud Clavell will be held Saturday, March 7, at 2:00 p.m. at Calvary Chapel Ramona, 114 14th Street, Suite D, Ramona, CA 92065.
