Robert E. Wilde obit
Robert Wilde September 23, 1929 - December 11, 2015 Robert Earl Wilde, 86, passed away Friday, December 11, 2015. Funeral Services for Robert will be held Wednesday, December 16th, at 12:00 noon, at the Garden Cove Ward Chapel, 1945 West 9000 South, West Jordan, Utah, where a Viewing will be held prior from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. Interment in Provo City Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Utah Valley Mortuary.
Love. You did it so perfectly for 86 years. Born September 23, 1929 to Earl Heber and Loyas Ora Christensen Wilde, that love filled the arms of your dear parents. On December 11, 2015 it was that love we felt as you left the arms of your sweetheart and family here on earth, and were welcomed with warm embrace by your parents, brothers, sister, and grand-daughter. Robert Earl Wilde, we will forever cherish you as our husband, father, and grandpa.
From your childhood in Hiawatha, raising your family in Provo, and your new home in West Jordan, your imaginative and infectious personality created life-long friendships you cherished and celebrated. You had a great love for country as evidenced by your honorable service to the Air Force and your career as a US Postal worker. Your desire to serve others drew you to these positions and we will always remember your excitement and personal touch in delivering call letters to missionary families.
Your love for competition was visible in cheering for BYU, watching the NY Yankees, playing golf, and beating your family in cards with a grin that could not be contained. We would gladly lose one last time to see that smile again.
Above all, your love of family and your Savior guided everything you did. Your dedication to Christ as an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a servant of the Lord in His Temple stands as an example for us. You loved your wife, Renee Dawn Worthen more than life itself and prepared for that special day on June 24, 1955 when you were sealed for time and all eternity in the Manti Temple. Your three children, Mitchell (Jennifer), Stuart (Jamie), and Debbie (Bob) were your greatest accomplishment and your grandchildren your pride and joy. How grateful we are for your example of humility, selflessness, humor, loyalty and service. We will miss you and always strive to love as you did.

Jack Magnuson obit notice
Castle Dale - Jack LeRoy Magnuson, 86, passed away September 25, 2015 from injuries sustained in a four-wheeling accident. He was born July 22, 1929 in Castle Dale, Utah to Charles and Ada Faye Jeffs Magnuson.
On November 25, 1955 he married the love of his life, Janet Wickman in Ely, Nevada. Their marriage was later solemnized on May 13, 1997 in the Manti Temple. Jack and Janet were only two months shy of their 60th wedding anniversary.
He was raised in Castle Dale, Utah. At the age of 16 he moved to California with his father to work in the grape fields. After a short stay, he returned to Castle Dale and worked in the oil fields and for US Fuel Co. in Hiawatha, Utah as a shuttle car operator until he joined the U.S. Army in 1951. He served in Fort Lewis, Washington until his honorable discharge in March 1953. He returned to Castle Dale and resumed employment at US Fuel.
In the early 1960s they started a small building material store in their backyard. He would work at the mine whenever possible and, with the help of Janet, maintained the lumber store too. The business was so successful that, in 1965, he was able to purchase property on Castle Dale Main Street and build his first store. The business grew and flourished until he built the large Magnuson Lumber building in 1984. It is still operating today, 50 years later.
He loved to spend time with friends and family traveling the country and at his Joe’s Valley Ranch. He spent many memorable days vacationing with his grandchildren.
He served many years on the Castle Dale City Council. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He and Janet served nine years at the church cannery and served a two year humanitarian mission. He found great joy in helping others. Wherever he went, he was always willing to lend a helping hand.
He is survived by his wife Janet, son Randy (Laurel) Magnuson, daughter Jarilyn Spears; His grandchildren, Dallas (Shanna) Magnuson, Lindsey (Cody) Oman, McKenzie (Chance) Garrison, Eric (Caitlin) Spears, Leisha Magnuson and McCall Spears; His great-grandchildren, Korbin Garrison, Mylie Magnuson, Macee Garrison, Olivia Spears, Peyton Oman, Dreyden Oman, and Jaxton Oman. He is preceded in death by his great-granddaughter Maeli McCall Garrison; his parents Charles and Ada Faye Jeffs Magnuson; brothers Paul and Bruce; sisters Twila, Jenny, and Valora.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Castle Dale Utah Stake Center, 35 East Main, Castle Dale, Utah. A viewing will be held Tuesday evening, September 29, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Fausett Mortuary, 720 North Center, Castle Dale, Utah and Wednesday morning from 9:00-10:30 a.m. prior to the services at the church. Interment will be at the Castle Dale City Cemetery. Funeral services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary. Jean Reaveley Obit Notice
A beautiful heart took its last breath on September 15,
2015, as Jean succumbed to her illness surrounded by loved ones. Jean was born
to Marvin and Pauline Dickson (Brunner) on February 27, 1929 in Heber City, UT.
The family later moved to Salt Lake City, UT, where she grew up and graduated
from South High School. Her first marriage was to Edward LaRocque (Rock)
Campbell on August 14, 1946 in Salt Lake City. They were married for 27 years.
She later married Donald G. Reaveley in Elko, NV on May 30, 1981.
Jean is survived by husband Don, daughter Vicki (Steve)
Rogers, son Mark (Silvia) Campbell, and predeceased by son Brig Campbell and
daughter Tori Larsen. Also survived by stepchildren Terrie McCans (Reavely) and
Don Reavely, Jr., sisters Darlene Cornwall and Kay Hoagland, 10 grandchildren
and 11 great-grandchildren.
Jean loved her family and friends fiercely, generously and
unconditionally. Don was the love of her life for 34 years. His love for her
was ultimately demonstrated by his loyalty and dedicated care during her
illness, to the very end.
Her zest for life was evident in all her activities,
interests and spontaneous nature. She was passionate about bridge, bowling,
cards and anything else that came her way, and she made it fun for everyone
sharing the experience with her. She was also an active member of the Women's
Auxiliary of the Disabled American Veterans for several years and served as
State Department Commander during part of her tenure.
Though she will be dearly missed, the qualities and
character Jean possessed and so freely shared with others will live on in
perpetuity through all the lives she touched.
The family wishes to acknowledge and express their gratitude
to the staff of Legacy Village Memory Care and Aspire Home Health & Hospice
for their compassionate care during Jean's final days.
Burial will be at Crestview Cemetery in Price, UT.
Private family services to be held.
