This is a cliff above the R/R going to Wattis. Does anyone know if it had as official name? If you do either post it to this site or e-mail at Wallybaldw@AOL.com
Hi Wally I am in Alaska and enjoy your site. I am son of Levi and Cora Thomas, and lived next door to the Baldwins. The peak above the tracks going to Wattis is Hawaks peak. The Tallest peak looking toward East Hiawatha was Star Peak. My Grandfather Levi R. Thomas said it was sheep and cattle men would climb to the top and build a fire so their families in the vally could see they were all right. Keep up the good work Bill Thomas
