I was so sad to learn of the passing of our dear friend, beautiful Carma Rae. Valene (Reese) Tucker and Carma and I were the best of friends since our childhood days in Hiawatha...beginning in 1938. We had the best of times, and Val and I will have fond memories forever of Carma Rae. My sister Zoy and my husband Mike and I attended Carma's viewing one week ago Friday evening, and also her funeral one week ago today. Carma's funeral was beautiful, with her family participating. Our love and sympathy go out to Ken and his & Carma's children and grandchildren, and we pray that the Lord will bless them with comfort and peace, knowing that "families are forever."
