On August 28, 2015 the life of Marilyn Sue Cannon Christensen was taken too soon. Marilyn was born March 16, 1957 to Melba Justesen and Dale Cannon. She was raised by her Uncle and Aunt, Bert and Golda Cannon. Marilyn married Dennis Christensen on April 27, 1985.
She is survived by her husband Dennis; mom Melba; children Shane, Lewis, and Brittney; 12 grandchildren; Aunt Betty Peterson and many aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, sisters and brothers.
A visitation will be held at Lake Hills Memorial Mortuary, 10055 S. State St., Sandy, UT, on Wednesday September 2, 2015 between 6 and 8 PM. Funeral services will be held at the same location, Thursday, September 3, 2015 at 11:00 AM, and interment in Lake Hills Memorial Cemetery following services. Marilyn's life was cut short and she will be greatly missed!

Merlin Blackburn Obituary 
Our wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, Merlin Blackburn, 84, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2015 in Kearns, Utah.
He was born on October 9, 1930 in Clawson, Utah to Wayne and Melba Prows Blackburn. He graduated from Emery High School, and served his country during the Korean War. Merlin married Geraldine Baldwin on December 22, 1955 in Castro Valley, California.
He was an active member of the LDS Church and served faithfully in many callings. He barbered in Kearns for 40 years and made many wonderful friends. He loved to spend time with his family, they were his life.
Merlin is survived by his loving wife; children, Penni (Keith) Cook, Jackie (Layne) Larsen, Kelly (Todd) Jensen; 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; brothers, Clarence, Harold and Blain Blackburn. He is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters and three brothers.
Funeral services for Merlin will be held on Friday, July 3, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South where friends may visit with the family on Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. and again on Friday one hour prior to the service. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.valleyviewfuneral.com.

Merlin Blackburn's Funeral

Merlin Blackburn's viewing will be Thursday July 2nd from 6:00- 8:00 PM.
There will also be a viewing Friday July 3rd before the grave side service. Burial will be on the 3rd at 11:00 AM. Viewing and Burial will be at Valley View Memorial Park 4335 W. 4100 So.
