Clyde R. Reaveley Clyde R. Reaveley passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, October 6, 2011 after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease.
Clyde was born January 2, 1933 in Consumers, Utah to Belle Gentry and George Douglas Reaveley. His family moved to Hiawatha, Utah in 1937. He attended the Hiawatha school, Price Jr. High and Carbon High.
Clyde joined the United States Marine Corps and served in the Korean War.
He married Betty LeFlore in March 1951. They moved to Layton where he worked at Hill AFB.
Clyde was a devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He held many positions including Scout leader, Temple Ordinance Worker and member of the bishopric. In addition to his church service he enjoyed many hobbies including fly fishing and radio-controlled airplanes.
Clyde is survived by his loving wife Betty and three sons; Gary, Rod (Diane), Jimmy (Roslynn), six grandchildren; Shawn, Brooke, Brad, Benjamin, Isaac, Caleb, five great-grandchildren; Mayah, Ashton, Garrett, Kyra, Zack, two sisters; Laretta (David) Larsen, Virginia Jordan and one brother; Don (Jean).
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.

She was born Aug. 5, 1924 in Salt Lake City to Stanley Waytones and Muriel Knott.
Married William C. Marshall, June 26, 1948 in Salt Lake City; he died May 7, 1979.
Isabell was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was an active member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and the 8 and 40. She shared a special love for all animals and will be dearly missed by her family.
Survived by her children, Earl D. Marshall, Forth Worth, Texas; Sandra (Robert) Winn, Magna; Wesley C. Marshall, Price; 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bill; infant daughter, Darlene; daughter, Jeanett; son, Stanley; and sister, Florence.
Funeral service, Friday, Sept. 23, 2011, 11 a.m., Price North LDS Stake Center, 449 N. 100 E., Price. Family will receive friends Friday morning from 10-10:45 a.m. at the church. Interment, Price City Cemetery.

Marie was born in Sunnyside on March 25, 1923, to Henning B. and Minnie C. Olsen. She was the sixth child and the baby of her family of three brothers and two sisters. Zelila Morley, Arlene McCrae, John, Lloyd and Forrest Olsen all who preceded her in death.
On June 11, 1941, she married Boyd A. McKinnon and he passed away on Dec. 21, 1957. They had one daughter, Connie M. Gragg, Mesquite, Nev; two grandchildren, Sandra M. (Steve) Alderson, Mesquite, Nev., Damon R. (Lisa) Gragg, Livermore, Calif; four great-grandchildren, Michael Millring, Matthew Gragg, Morgan Millring and Scott Gragg; and their son-in-law, Damon R. Gragg who preceded her in death.
After Boyd's death, Marie moved from the ranch and began a career in banking. She retired from Zions Bank in Price. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and an active member of the community. She loved to play bridge, belonged to several clubs and loved her bridge friends.
Marie met and married Alvin Swasey on July 16, 1960. They were married for 15 years when Al passed away. They loved to camp and enjoy many outings in their camper.
Just before her retirement, she met and married a wonderful man, Thomas J. Draper. Tom and Marie had six years together and enjoyed traveling before Tom's passing. Through that union Marie gained a step-son, James (Marie) Draper, Silver Springs, Md; and three grandchildren, Julie, Lori and Mike. She loved them as her own and until her death they were an important part of her life.
She has many nieces and nephews whom she loved and was always available to help with what ever they needed.
In 1995, Marie was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and since then it's been a long journey. During this time she lived at the Heirloom Inn in Price and the Beehive Home in St. George. Her family is so grateful for all the loving care that she received.
It has been a long goodbye, but now we know you are at peace and in the arms of those family members who were waiting for you.
Funeral service, Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011, 11 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home. Family will be at Mitchell's Friday evening from 6 - 7 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to service. James (Jim) Walter Baxter, 89, was born Sept. 2, 1922 in Hiawatha to Walter A. Baxter and Famie Gunderson Baxter. Passed away Sept. 21, 2011 in Carson City, Nev.Jim attended school at Hiawatha and Carbon, graduating from Wasatch Academy, Mt. Pleasant. Jim served two years in the United States Navy. He worked as a Teletype Operator for the Santa Fe Railroad in California. After retiring he moved to Carson City, Nev.
He is survived by his wife, Donna, Carson City, Nev. Sister, Francy Handley, Huntington; Niece and nephews Sharr'ee Grimmett, Drew, Greg, Kelly and Fred LeRoy. Step children David (Veronica) Ames, Huntington.
Preceded in death by parents and nephew Jim LeRoy.
Graveside services were held Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2011 at the Northern Nevada Veteran's Cemetery in Fernley, Nev.

Morris was raised in Hiawatha and attended schools in Carbon County. He graduated from Carbon High in 1950. He then joined the U.S. Air force in 1951 and served until 1965 in the Korean Conflict. He worked as a mechanic in the Air Force. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many capacities. Morris' hobbies included playing pool, chess, fishing and listening to music.
Survived by his wife, Yvonne, three nieces: Susan, Patricia, Denise and a nephew, Tony.
Preceded in death by his parents, an infant daughter, Janice Ilene Olsen, a sister Darlene Stukey and a nephew, Jimmy Bruno.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, Oct. 7, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the Price LDS North Stake Center (449 N. 100 E.). A viewing will be Thursday, Oct. 6, 2011 at Fausett Mortuary in Price, from 6 - 7 p.m. and Friday prior to the services from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Cliffview Cemetery. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary. Friends may sign the guest book and share memories of Morris at www.fausettmortuary.com.

Roma was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved bowling, fishing, camping, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was self-employed for 14 years owning and running the Tiny Tots Day Care in Evanston, Wyo.
She is survived by her husband, John; children: Sherrie Montoya, St. George, and Janile (Jim) Kennedy, Evanston, Wyo; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters: Rene Cupples, East Carbon, and Oreen Sawyer, Evanston, Wyo.
Preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; two sisters; and one son Mark Alfred Cooper.
Roma's family will receive friends and family on Friday, Oct. 7, 2011 from 6 - 8 p.m. at Crandall Funeral Home (800 Uinta - Evanston, Wyo). A Graveside service will be held Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011 at 1 p.m. at the Randolph Cemetery (305 West Canyon Street - Randolph) Interment will be in the Randolph Cemetery. Well I don't know about the rest of you but I really enjoyed Hiawatha Day this year. There were not as many there as usual but we that were there seemed to have fun.
Thanks to ALL OF THE ONES who made it a success. I will not name them as I am sure I would leave someone out--- but A BIG THANK YOU!
Lise Peirce has some ladies sun glasses and am M&M coffee mug that was left on a table there. If they are yours and you would like them contact Lisa.
My wife says to tell all of you hello and she really missed being there.
