My brother-in-law, Dr. Duane L.Merrill, called my attention to the picture of the1940 7th grade class. I am Shirley Gleason Jones and in the picture. It was fun to see and called up many happy memories of Hiawatha. I thought I'd tell you that the girl with the ? for her name is Beverly Shadler. I'm not sure of the spelling of her last name.
I love your site and I loved Hiawatha also. I lived there from 1928 until 1941 when we moved to New York.
