Wally, I just want you to know how much I appreciate the work you do to get news of Hiawatha people out to so many. I lived in Hiawatha for the first time during the mid 40's. We returned in 1951 and spent a couple of years. My father Orville Marvel, and my brother Billy Marvel both worked in the coal mines. Billy married Roylene Babcock.
Keep up the good work. I enjoy reading the list of attendees to the Hiawatha Day celebration. I attended in 2005. I live in Coal Hill, AR, which is the hometown of the Lowe's and Jacksons.
